Questionable

The hall was clogged with bodies; none of them hers, but who could be sure?

Oh, no, I had to get out of here. The perplexity of unsure outcomes of encounters terrified me to death. This was ridiculous! I mean, I wasn't the type of person to judge anyone. I had my fair share of awkward experiences that I learned to accept from time to time. I never wanted to be the guy who was just oblivious to all things out of the ordinary and totally dwindled away his life being shocked by everything new and "outside the box". But I didn't know how long I could go on without second guessing everything said to me as a double entendre.

"Hey, you there!" I turned around to see a medium-build fellow. He, unlike some of the others, didn't appear questionable at all. "Hi, I'm Winsor. You new here?" "Yeah", I replied. "I just transferred here from Bancroft. "That's just East of the river right?" "Yes", I replied. "Right over there near Mckinley Bridge. "Oh, yes, I know exactly where that's at.", he said. "I go finish out that way with my uncle every June." "Oh, great! I love finishing over in that area!" I replied excitedly. "Hey, me and some of the guys are headed over to the dock later on. You want to come with? You can meet some people and get acquainted with some of my friends." "Okay, sounds like a plan", I replied. "Great, meet me back here after final period.". "Will do", I replied. I headed to class excited about meeting a new person, completely forgetting my initial concern with...uh...what was it again?
